Jeremy Schmidt’s Belt Grinder

So everything has slowly been converging on a Belt Grinder Project!

If you don’t know about Jeremy’s DIY belt grinder project, check it out here:

• Thanks to Ben, there are a couple of 2.5hp 3 phases motors in the workshop
• Plasma cutter has a laser to align and zero sheet metal on the table
• Downdraft table to keep the fumes under control is nearly finished
• Compressor can keep up with the Plasma, and no breakers trip when everything is running at the same time

Here’s the nested cutting plan for all the small parts.. it just fits on a 40kg piece of 10mm Steel Plate..

Will be the biggest cutting job yet!
